VISION
Where there is no vision the people perish. (Proverbs 29:18)
With all the difficulties we have encountered in trying to expand our ministry to men, our ministry to women coming out of prison has been put on hold. Now the Lord has given me hope that we can get this ministry back on track. Last month I attended a meeting and found others with a similar burden. We are exploring the possibilities of forming a coalition of three ministries to try and obtain a federal grant to establish a residential house for women coming out of prison. This would be in Palm Beach County.

ONGOING MINISTRY
It looks like there is a party going on with all the cars parked on our property at 701 SW 9th St. in Okeechobee on Monday evenings. And there is! Between 25 and 30 women gather there to learn about who they are in Jesus and who they are in their relationship with others. It is a mixed bag, as we minister to women living in the community and women coming out of jail. Anyone who is hurting and needs a touch from God is invited to participate.

Great is thy faithfulness
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. (Lamentations 3:22,23,25)
It is only because of the faithfulness of the Lord that we have not given up hope regarding the purchase of the mobile home park. So far we have not been able to acquire the financing we need, but we are still in the hunt and have great plans for this venture.
We plan to develop several cottage industries to employ our men. A mobile home repair business, a cleaning business, and a mobile auto detailing business are some that are under consideration.
