Why Assist Ex-Offenders?
FACT: 55% of those released commit new crimes the first week they are out of prison. 95% of all those sentenced to prison will be released someday.
FACT: National rate of recidivism (those returning to prison) is 76%. Where a good support group, such as ours id in place, this figure can be reduced to 10%
FACT: It’s the right thing to do. 95% of prisoners ARE NOT sophisticated criminals. They are people who made wrong decisions and got caught.
FACT: People DO change. Those who have experienced a spiritual renewal and have had teaching concerning Life Value Skills have shown a strong tendency toward becoming productive citizens.
